Yes, but they would not know whether they were officially self-employed or not, and would not know whether they were covered or not. That is the problem with the list and the way the clause is drafted. Clause 1 is drafted on the basis of the world of work 30 years ago, when there was a clear distinction between being employed and self-employed. That distinction has become blurred.
