On a point of order, Mr Streeter. For the convenience of the Committee I want to take the opportunity to clarify something. We had a long debate at the end of our last sitting on the interaction between the Lord Chancellor and any change in policy from the Church in Wales. I want to confirm that we will take that away and do everything we can to meet its requirements. If we are able to do that, we will table a substantive amendment on Report.

Further to that point of order, Mr. Streeter. I welcome what the Minister said. I am grateful for his assurance, as I am sure the Church in Wales will be. On that basis, we would not want to press the amendment to a vote.

I am grateful to both colleagues.
