Has my hon. Friend also looked at the evidence given to the Committee by Paul Callaghan? He said:

“This proposal is clearly only optional one way. If a job can be made conditional on accepting an owner-employee contract, that is only optional to the extent that eating and drinking are optional. If you need a job, you have to take whatever terms are offered. Does he agree with Mr Callaghan and does the Minister need to take that on board?
