My hon. Friend will know that we work across Government to tackle disinformation. Within my portfolio we have increased funding for the BBC World Service, which is the most trusted newscaster across the world. That is a way in which the Foreign Office tackles disinformation.

The UK keeps opportunities to engage with relevant international initiatives under review, including where they align with our development, health and environmental objectives. No formal assessment has yet been made of the merits of UK membership of the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future, but we will confirm any decision to participate in the usual way in due course.
There are no additional updates at this stage beyond the commitments set out in my Statement to the House on 6 July (HCWS185), but I will keep my Hon Friend informed of any further developments in due course.
