Is the hon. Member not missing the point? It is not a question of the quality of the bricks but of the fact that, whatever the quality, there is a 50 per cent. difference in price between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
It has been remarked more than once during this Debate that this Order is within very narrow limits. I look upon those narrow limits as almost an insult to Scotland. Why should we not have had a proper Order on which we could have discussed what subsidy is necessary in order to have more house building in Scotland than there has been for some time past? I hope that English Members do not...
