Former MP for St Marylebone
asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he proposes to introduce legislation to legalise the playing of poker as well as bridge in clubs.
Is not present legislation being unfairly administered, in view of the fact that small social clubs are being raided while large clubs, with a distinguished membership, are continuing to play poker?
Was any reason given for turning it down?
