  • Public Bill Committee: Pensions (Special Rules for End of Life) Bill: Clause 1 - Changes to periods of life expectancy 24 Apr 2024

I am most grateful to the Minister for what he has just said. Can he confirm that that is an undertaking that he has given, and that it is unequivocal?
  • Public Bill Committee: Pensions (Special Rules for End of Life) Bill: Clause 1 - Changes to periods of life expectancy 24 Apr 2024

Is my hon. Friend entirely happy with the wording of clause 2(4)? Has he had an undertaking from the Minister that the Government will bring the Bill into force as soon as possible? I ask because I was lucky enough to take the through Parliament Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019, which had a similar clause. Some five years later, we are still waiting for the Government to introduce the...
  • Automated Vehicles Bill [Lords] 5 Mar 2024

On the point the Secretary of State has just been discussing, presumably the details of all journeys undertaken by automated vehicles will be recorded. • Flooding 6 Feb 2024

Have the Government have reached a conclusion on the effectiveness of dredging the River Parrett?
  • Flooding 6 Feb 2024

I congratulate my hon. Friend on securing this important debate. Does he agree that, in places where farmland regularly floods, there is a case for saying that farmers should be paid for storing water on behalf of the state?
  • Pensions (Special Rules for End of Life) Bill 2 Feb 2024

Will my hon. Friend just clarify the position? Is he saying that he would prefer the Bill to be amended, or is he happy with it as it stands?
