Mr McGlone asked the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development for more detail on the proposal outlined during evidence to the AERA Committee last Thursday, when members heard that his Department would avail itself of the small business research initiative to look at methods to deal with blue-green algae on Lough Neagh. I concur with the Minister's congratulations to the new Chief Veterinary Officer, Brian Dooher.
