🎁 Gifts, benefits and hospitality

17-18 July 2025: I attended The Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club with Tourism NI in my capacity as Economy Minister, hosting Tourism NI and Invest NI receptions for potential investors, golf, business and tourism stakeholders and overseas media. On 18 July 2025, I was hosted for lunch by the R&A in my ministerial capacity and the cost was met by the R&A (approx £375 plus VAT). 🔗


🌍 Visits

11 July 2022: I participated in a workshop at the European Left Summer School in Aveiro, Portugal. Travel costs (€547.95) were reimbursed and the accommodation (totalling €140) was provided by the “European Left”. 🔗

19-26 March 2023: I visited Washington DC to participate in an academic conference on the 25th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, hosted jointly by the American University, Georgetown University and Ulster University. The costs of return flights from Dublin to Washington Dulles (approximately £1078) and three nights’ accommodation (approximately £434) were met by American University. 🔗
