My Lords, as I said, 423 of the 1,300 carriages have been ordered. The carriages are scheduled for completion by 2014, so we have not been slow off the mark. We are looking to place additional orders, although I cannot of course comment about particular companies that might benefit.

It is certainly helpful to know that 423 of the 1300 carriages have been ordered. It would be more helpful to be told the number ordered by class together with their planned delivery dates.
It would also be helpful to be given the planned schedule of deliveries for the remainder as far as it is known.
