My Lords, I am sure that the Minister will understand why those of us who have been arguing for more money to be spent on adult education will feel disappointed by the number of places cut. Can he explain the future policy and, in particular, whether ICT will be taught to the older generation—not least if they are to be expected to go straight on to websites?
