Please provide a breakdown for the number of blue light police officer drivers per borough per year for the past 5 years.

In August 2022 the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) introduced the new corporate Learning Management System (LMS). Previously, driver training records were held on a legacy system which did not allow the MPS to obtain and analyse historic trend data. This was a key driver in moving to the LMS.

Accordingly, only recent data is available. The table below shows trained driver data per Basic Command Unit (BCU) extracted on 10/11/2022. Note there is still some data transition in progress – the data does not include drivers who were trained during the move to the LMS.
