How does London benefit from the Government’s Levelling-Up Fund in comparison to other regions?
London received the smallest allocation of any region from Round 1 of the Levelling Up Fund – a total of £65m across six projects. The smallest regional allocation outside of London, went to the East of England which received £87m for five projects. The largest regional allocation went to the North West, which received £232 million in total for 12 projects. See appendix 1 for detailed breakdown by regions.
