What was the cost of any GLA/Mayoral funded ULEZ expansion celebration party of which many images have been circulated?

The ULEZ is a world leading policy that will not only benefit Londoners but will be a template for cities across the UK and around the world.

Expanding the ULEZ on time and on budget was a huge feat, requiring the delivery of extensive physical and technological infrastructure and the expertise of hundreds of people over many years, including managing the disruption and the need to develop safe working practices during the pandemic.

A reception to thank GLA and Transport for London (TfL) staff for their work in expanding the ULEZ was held at the Museum of London on 24 November 2021. No public funds were used to cover the cost of the reception.

The GLA and TfL won prize money in 2021 from the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities for the world-leading ULEZ. The cost of the event (£7,310) was covered by that.
