What action have you taken over the past year to improve access to general healthcare for trans and gender-diverse Londoners?

I am delighted that the Health Committee has started an inquiry into access to healthcare for trans and gender diverse people. While I have no powers or responsibility for the commissioning or provision of health or care services, I regularly advocate with the health and care system to improve services for all Londoners, particularly where health inequalities exist. My officers have written recently to senior leaders in the NHS about access to health care for trans and gender-diverse Londoners and they will let you know the outcome of their enquiries.
