In the last 24 months how many fire risk assessments have been collected by the London Fire Brigade from the Responsible Person and how many of them have been formally reviewed? Please break this down by i) the height of building, and ii) the month/year in which they were collected.

London Fire Brigade’s inspecting officers do not generally collect fire risk assessments. Consideration of a responsible person’s fire risk assessment forms part of the audit process and is usually conducted at the premises to determine whether, when viewed against the facts on the ground, the assessment is suitable, sufficient and has been acted upon. Where a fire risk assessment is not available on site or further consideration is required then the responsible person may be asked to send a copy to the inspecting officer. However, the occasions in which this has happened could only be determined by individual review of each of the files for the premises audited over the last 24 months.
