Have you read the Spectator article by Alasdair Palmer "What is organised crime doing disposing of rubbish"? Please investigate with London Councils and the Met if the allegations in this article are accurate. If so what is being done to stop such large scale dumping by organised crime?
The Met have been working with the Environment Agency to target waste carrying vehicles. Operation Angola is an Environment Agency repose to organised fly tipping which would ordinarily be flagged to them by the local authority. Police assist the Environmental Agency staff with vehicle stops and preventing breach of the peace whilst the EA then exercise their powers to deal with identified offences of illegal waste dumping and waste transportation.
