According to your 40th Mayor's report, you are 'increasing investment in programmes to tackle "county lines" and to disrupt the drugs market in the capital.' What are these programmes, how are you going to ensure that that they make a difference, and how will you judge success?

This work to tackle county lines and to disrupt the drugs market is part of a package of measures to tackle the complex causes of violent crime outlined in my recent Budget and backed by £55.5 million of investment.

The work on county lines and related drugs markets will involve close working with partners and build upon the success we have seen in the innovative Rescue and Response programme, commissioned by City Hall. This work will be underpinned by a rigorous project monitoring and evaluation process.
