Transport for London (TfL) has made efforts to reduce single-use cup usage in its three head offices.

In TfL’s newest office, Endeavour Square, there are no single-use cups at all. At Pier Walk, TfL has reduced paper and plastic cup use by 90 per cent and at Palestra, TfL has completely eliminated plastic cups, with some single-use paper cups available for external visitors.

TfL plan to be ‘paperless’ in the kitchens in the three hub buildings by April 2020. TfL is taking steps to achieve this including the purchase of mugs and dishwashers in head office locations to encourage sustainable behaviour.
