The Modern Slavery Act came into effect in 2015, this consolidated and simplified all existing offences relating to modern slavery into a single act. There are therefore no offences specifically relating to modern slavery for 2013 and 2014.

There have been 14 arrests in 2015, 77 in 2016, 104 in 2017 and 114 in 2018 under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
