Could you please explain how Community Roadwatch is funded in London, with specific reference to the roles played by the Metropolitan Police and TfL?

The Metropolitan Police Service's (MPSRoads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC) work in partnership with Transport for London (TfL) to deliver Community Roadwatch (CRW). Although RTPC is part funded by TfL, there is no specific funding stream for CRW. CRW is funded from the MPS RTPC budget. Community Roadwatch is a road safety initiative and tactic available for the MPS to use as part of its daily enforcement, engagement and education activity. Led by TfL, CRW aims to reduce speeding in residential areas and gives local residents the opportunity to work side by side with their local safer transport policing teams, who deliver and oversee the operational activity, using speed detection equipment to identify speeding vehicles in their communities.
