Industry and Parliament Trust

The IPT is a registered charity based in Whitehall that arranges placement of Peers,MPs,MEPs and Officers of both Houses of Parliament in industry for short periods in order to gain understanding of problems and challenges affecting wealth creators in the UK economy. The Trust also runs programmes in Parliament and in Brussels for those in business to better understand the legislative process. The Speaker and Lord Speaker are Joint Presidents of the Trust and the IPT is supported by the leaders of the main political parties. The Trust is non-political and non-lobbying.
