I trust and hope that we will achieve that outcome. I would like to assure Members that we have every confidence in the integrity of the elections. Through the defending democracy taskforce and the action taken by the Minister responsible for local government, my hon. Friend Simon Hoare, who has written to all local authorities in the past week, we are ensuring that the integrity of those important elections is preserved.
