Let us be clear: I did not question the legitimacy of the EU (Withdrawal) Act. My hon. Friend Sir William Cash questioned it. I did say that there were a number of outcomes within that Bill, but I did not question, and had no intention of questioning, the legitimacy of a Bill that has been passed through the House. We opposed that Bill and we lost.
