Although I have indicated that we would whip against the amendment from my right hon. Friend Sir Oliver Letwin, if it were to pass, that would lead to some votes taking place on Wednesday. The commitment that the Government have made is that there would be opportunities over this week and next week. My right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster indicated that we would facilitate the opportunity for the House to make those decisions in the two weeks following last week’s European Council.
