The hon. Lady makes an important point and, of course, we do produce world-class arts graduates, and we have some of the finest institutions in the world doing that. On what she calls valuing degrees, I have said that at least three different considerations need to be made: the cost of putting on the course, the value in earnings to the individual, and also the value to our society as well as our economy.
