The universe I am living in is the real one, where public resources are tight and we have to proceed on an evidenced basis. Labour is giving the same old response: more money, more money—whoops, we ran out of money. It is the same as ever; it never changes. When Labour Members read the detail and understand how it works, they will see that we are proposing a combination of things that will result in an increase of £450 million in our investment in our policing system.
