Mr Speaker, I have no advance knowledge of the future career prospects of my hon. Friend Mr Chope, but I am sure it is only a matter of time before he becomes a Dorset knight.
I do not agree with Thelma Walker, whom I welcome to her place. I do not think that what the sector needs right now is nationalisation. I would gently say once again that public ownership is not the answer to every challenge in our public services.
