Hilary Benn made a powerful argument as someone who was involved. To some extent, he embraced the £44 million scheme, but he would like much more to be done and a higher level of protection throughout the city. Fabian Hamilton made a powerful contribution, with an argument for an economic centre. We also heard from Richard Burgon, my hon. Friends the Members for Calder Valley (Craig Whittaker) and for Pudsey (Stuart Andrew), and finally from Mary Creagh, who made a strong argument about how all of this should be tied together.
