Why has the Prime Minister promised local people the final say on onshore wind farms but denies local people in Blackpool and Lancashire the final say over local fracking applications? Why are there double standards on renewable energy and fracking?

Mr Marsden, it is a failing of the Government and the Prime Minister in particular to have double standards like he does with the ex-pat pensioners.
650,000 pensioners get the annual uprating every year without a problem just as though they were still in the UK.
While 560,000 other ex-pat pensioners are frozen and get no increases ever imposed by a discriminative regulation.
Why ? Good question but they mostly live in the Commonwealth countries with whom the UK has such close ties and a Charter which is ignored.
This is Mr Cameron's FAIRNESS for all pensioners that he has spoken of so many times but discrimination rules it seems.
