Being stalked must be a terrible experience, and it is calculated that there are about 120,000 such cases each year. I am delighted that the Government are going to make it a criminal offence. The people of Broxtowe—and no doubt those throughout the rest of the country —want to know when legislation will be introduced.

I am pleased to read on here that there will be a more serious view about stalking taken in the the near future
I am writing this to say that I have been stalked on the world wide web for a period of 6 years. I feel that the whole issue will carry on until I finally get it stopped by an non-harassment order through the court system.
This person lives in Kent, and I live in Bedford so it makes things a little awkward for me.
The whole problem started because this lady wanted me to bully her neighbour on various websites, and I said no, and she took that as an insult, and has turned all of her hatred onto me. I have poison pen letters sent to all and sundry, telling people things that are not true, and they turn on me and bully me controlled by this offending person on my message boards.
I really hope to see an end to this sooner than later.
Please can you add any advice to what I may do to put a stop to this continual bullying behaviour of myself and my partner.
