On 9 July, on Imagine FM, the Secretary of State said that he would love to visit Ewing school-a special school in south Manchester threatened with closure. Apparently, the Secretary of State is now unable to visit. Is this another broken promise from a broken Labour Government, or is the Secretary of State just too embarrassed to visit a local school rated by Ofsted as good with outstanding features, but threatened with closure by a local Labour council?
