On a point of order and those of Political Correctness. It’s interesting to see that Tory MP Chris Chope, who as a minister helped bring in the ‘Dreaded Poll Tax’. is now seeking to have the ‘National Minimum Wage Abolished’ and replaced with his so called ‘Employment Opportunities Bill’, which is time-tabled for its second reading in Parliament this Friday 15 May 2009.

Why table this so early considering the detrimental effects this might have on his Party gaining re-election, once knowledge of becomes public, as indeed it now is?
