On a number of occasions during the past week, the Chancellor has stated that he wants to reduce the burdens on business. Bearing that in mind, does he agree that now is definitely not the time to be pushing ahead with the Equality Bill, which will pile extra costs and regulations on businesses of all sizes, and will he join the Business Secretary in pushing to have the Bill abandoned?
