I do not know whether there is a discount for council tax payers in England for senior citizens aged over 70 who live alone, but if not, will the Minister consider introducing a scheme similar to the one introduced in Northern Ireland by my colleague the Finance Minister, my right hon. Friend Mr. Robinson? Such a scheme would be very productive in targeting senior citizens who live alone and who are at the lower end of the income scale.
