Of course, as a Green Paper, it will not contain specific targets, but I promise him that it will reaffirm the direction of travel—the direction that older people themselves tell us that they want us to take. They want to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. If they cannot do so, they want to move to accommodation where they can maintain their independence. They do not want to be shuffled off into residential care, which is the policy of the Opposition parties.
