I am so grateful to the right hon. Lady, and also for her earlier courtesy.

The right hon. Lady is now making the offer of full support conditional. Did not a Conservative party news release, under the headline Hague offers Blair help on football hooligans state: Conservative Leader, William Hague has pledged that his Party will support any moves in Parliament to restrict English football hooligans following the trouble witnessed at Euro 2000? Did the right hon. Gentleman say that, or did he not? Is it not the truth that having given that undertaking, the Opposition are now rowing back from it?
