How can the Minister justify the fact that until March 1990, we were training Iraqi military personnel in this country? When Saddam Hussein was gassing the Kurds and invading Iran, we were supplying him with technology and training his military forces. When will the Government realise that when we accept money from every tinpot dictator who wants to send his troops here we are acting against the long-term interest of not only British troops in the Gulf, but all the British people?
