Ordered,That, at the sitting on Tuesday 29th January, notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order No. 14 (Exempted business),—

  1. (1) Mr. Speaker shall put the Questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on the Motions in the name of Mr. Secretary Heseltine relating to Local Government Finance not later than Ten o'clock; and
  2. (2) the Motions in the name of Mr. Secretary Hunt relating to Local Government Finance (Wales) may be proceeded with, though opposed, for one and a half hours after the first of them has been entered upon, and, if those proceedings have not been previously disposed of, Mr. Speaker shall at the expiry of that period put the Questions necessary to dispose of them; and
  3. (3) the aforesaid Questions may be decided after the expiry of the time for opposed business.
