Resolved,

That, for the purpose of any Act resulting from the Electricity Bill, it is expedient to authorise— (1) the inclusion in licences granted under that Act of conditions requiring the rendering of payments to the Secretary of State or the Director General of Electricity Supply;(2) the imposition of charges to corporation tax by provisions relating to the taxation of successor companies within the meaning of Part II of that Act;(3) the payment of sums into the Consolidated Fund or the National Loans Fund.—[Mr. John M.
