Amendments made: No. 295, in page 39, line 9, leave out from `to' to the end of line and insert `arrangements for appeals, in such circumstances as may be provided by the articles, to an appeal committee constituted in accordance with the articles'.

No. 296, in page 39, line 14, leave out from beginning to 'any' in line 16 and insert `or(ii) the permanent exclusion of any pupil from the school;and for enabling the governing body to make joint arrangements for that purpose with the governing body of one or more other grant-maintained schools;(dd) with respect to arrangements for the consideration and disposal of complaints relating to'.
