Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved,That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to substitute a new limit for the limit on lending to the International Monetary Fund imposed by section 2(1) of the International Monetary Fund Act 1979 and to provide for the Bank of England to be indemnified in respect of certain financial assistance, it is expedient to authorise any increase attributable to the Act of the present Session in the sums charged on the Consolidated Fund or payable into or out of that Fund or the National Loans Fund. —[Mr. Major.]
