One is to keep up the income of farmers within the United Kingdom, and the other is to inflate still further the inflated prices that housewives in Britain have to pay for expensive European food. Cannot he keep one and deal with the other? Secondly, will he confirm that he will not allow an increase above 7·8 per cent. in European food prices this year?
