Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved,That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make provision with respect to the construction in highways of artificial humps or depressions designed to control the speed of vehicles, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (1) any expenses under that Act of a Minister of the Crown;
  2. (2) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums so payable under any other Act.—[Mr. Kenneth Clarke.]
