Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved,That, for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to make provision as regards Scotland with respect to the age of retirement of teachers it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act of the present Session in—

  1. (a) the sums payable out of money provided by Parliament by virtue of the Education (Scotland) Act 1962, the Pensions (Increase) Act 1971 or the Superannuation Act 1972; and
  2. (b) rate support grant.—[Mr. Millan.]
