Ordered, That Standing Order 109 (Appointment of Committee of Selection) be repealed and that a new Standing Order be made as follows:—'There shall be a Committee, to be called the Committee of Selection, consisting of nine Members, of whom three shall be a quorum: and every Private Bill on committal shall stand referred to the Committee'.—[Mr. Walter Harrison.]

Ordered, That Mr. Ronald Brown, Mr. Hugh Delargy, Mr. Reginald Eyre, Mr. Philip Holland, Mr. Adam Hunter, Mr. Cledwyn Hughes, Mr. Bryant Godman Irvine, Mr. Kenneth Lewis, and Mr. Frederick Willey be members of the Committee of Selection.

Ordered, That the members of the Committee of Selection nominated this day shall continue to be members of the Committee for the remainder of this Parliament.
