I agree. It was only for circumstances of time that I perhaps looked over that note—[HON. MEMBERS: "Oh!"] I was going to say that. There is a perfectly valid argument that the manslaughters must be added to the murder figure. In fact, the figure comes out at 252. I accept that after adding the manslaughter figures the 1971 figure of 252 is the highest during the period 1957–72. However, one must take that figure against the fluctuation which has occurred from 1957 onwards.
