Has my right hon. Friend heard what a well known trade union leader said when he addressed the Kent branch of the Institute of Management? Mr. John Cousins said: It is my union's policy to hurt as many people in a strike as possible. I realise that strikes cause a great financial strain on some companies. But I would rather close a firm down than not have it pay wage claims". Does my right hon. Friend agree that this is one of the major causes of the present high unemployment?
