That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty as follows:

Most Gracious Soverrign,

We, Your Majesty's most dutiful and boyal subjects, the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, In Parliament assembled, beg leave to offer our humble thanks to Your Majestly for the Gracious Speech which Your Majesty has addressed to both Houses of Parliament.

As I told some ho. Members on Friday, I have selected for today the first Amendment standing in the name of the right hon. Gentleman the Leader of the Opposition on economic affairs. and I have selected for tomorrow's debate the Amendment standing in the name of the right hon. Gentleman on housing—

But humbly regret that the Gracious Speech contains no proposals to assist the homeless, to facilitate home ownership, or to reverse the present serious decline in house building.
