The hon. Member will, of course, be aware of the circumstances in which it became necessary to move my right hon. Friend the present Minister of Power, but surely the hon. Gentleman is not suggesting that the very long period we had up to 1964, under a then Postmaster-General whom the Conservatives since then have tried with some success to forget, was better than what has happened under this Government, and still less would justify the dozen Defence Ministers in 13 years.
